This isn’t suitable for severe or widespread eczema, or eczema with signs of infection.

Eczema treatment plans are individually assessed, and what’s appropriate can change as your skin responds over time.

Your pharmacist will assess your individual suitability, including your relevant medical history and current symptoms, before proceeding. 

This consultation is only suitable for mild to moderate eczema; severe, widespread, or infected eczema needs assessment by a GP or dermatologist. 

Ask your pharmacist for the relevant Consumer Medicines Information (CMI) if a medicine is provided.

Before Your Consultation

Be prepared to discuss:

• Your skin concerns and known triggers
• Your current skincare routine
• Any medicines you are currently taking

During Your Consultation

Your pharmacist will assess your skin and discuss your routine and possible triggers before determining whether treatment can be provided.

The consultation may also include a prescribed treatment plan where appropriate, or a referral to your GP or a dermatologist if more severe.

What if my eczema looks infected?

This is outside the scope of this consultation — your pharmacist will refer you to your GP.
