• Have questions about a mental health medicine you are taking
• Aren’t sure where to turn and would like help finding the right support

Before Your Vaccination

Be prepared to discuss:

• How you’ve been feeling
• Any mental health medicines you’re currently taking
• What kind of support you’re looking for

During Your Visit

Your pharmacist will listen and discuss how you’re feeling in a confidential, judgement-free conversation.

The conversation may also include general information about mental health medicines, or referral to your GP or another support service.

Will anything I say to the pharmacist be shared with anyone else?

No — conversations with your pharmacist are treated confidentially, in the same way as any other health conversation in the pharmacy.

Can a pharmacist diagnose a mental health condition?

No — a pharmacist can provide general support and information, but diagnosis and treatment planning need a GP or mental health professional.
